Eugene A. Knick, age 90, of Alexandria, passed away on June 17, 2017  at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis .
He was born on February 16, 1927, to the late Harvey and Augusta (Heaton) Knick.  Eugene served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.  He married Mary (Stage) Knick.  Eugene retired  from Fisher Body in Marion after more than 32 years of service.  He was a member of  Elwood V.F.W. Post 5782 and the Frankton American Legion. 
Eugene is survived by a son, Terrell Knick of Elwood, granddaughter, Tasha Knick (companion Jacob), grandson, Tyler Knick (companion Kelli),  2 sisters, Margaret "Mazie" Groover  and Marie Alice Winter, great-granddaughter, Mackenzi Rybecki, great-grandson Tryston Knick, and several nieces & nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Augusta Knick, wife, Mary Knick, daughter, Debra Chapman, daughter-in-law, Ronda Knick, a brother, Floyd Knick, and 2 great-grandchildren.

Eugene chose to be cremated and per his wishes, there will be no public funeral services.   Arrangements were entrusted to Dunnichay Funeral Home in Elwood.
