Jeffery Lynn Nolan, age 53, of Elwood, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital following an extended illness.
He was born on January 14, 1966, to Troy and Paulette (Fleenor) Nolan.
On June 6, 1987 he married the love of his life Jennifer (Palat) Nolan.
Jeffery worked for Keter Plastic in Alexandria. He served in the Army National Guard for 13 years from 1986-1999. He was a member of Patriot Guard Riders, the Elwood Conservation Club, the Central Wesleyan Church., and the Seymour Jaycees. He was a member of the staff and actor at the Fear Fair (a haunted house) . He enjoyed Motocycles, golfing, bowling, shooting, and hunting. He was a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, the Kentucky Wildcats, and NASCAR Racing espcecically Dale Earnhardt Sr and Jr. He loved music and enjoyed listening to Chris Hosier and played drums and guitar. Most of all he loved his family and enjoyed watching his grandchildren play softball and baseball.
Jeffery is survived by his wife of 32 years, Jennifer Nolan of Elwood, 2 daughters, Jodi Alexander of Elwood, and Jerin (Michael Stickler) Nolan of Elwood, father, Troy Nolan of Seymour, mother, Paulette Fleenor of Seymour, adopted daughter, Amy Weddell of Elwood, adopted daughter, Danielle (Nate ) Clos of Elwood, siblings, Cindi Edwards of Holliday, FL, Tracy Nolan of Seymour, Tonya (Jimmy) Lester of Myrtle Beach, SC,, Melissa (Sid) Dunno of Seymour, and John (Karla) Polley of Seymour, grandchildren, Maddison Alexander, Hunter Alexander, Bristol Alexander, Bliss Tolen, Wrenly Stickler, Oli Weddell, Razel King, and Kim Walters, best friend, Randy Mooney of Atlanta, best friend, Morris Carter of Elwood, best friend, Jimmy Jones of Frankton, best friend, Jimmy Marling of Seymour, and best friend, Ray (Wendy) James of Franklinville, NC, and several nieces and nephews.
Jeffery was preceded in death by his grandfather, Elvin Nolan, grandmother, Alice Nolan, father-in-law, Josef Palat, mother-in-law, Dorothy Palat, grandmother, Florence Fleenor, and grandfather, Orville Fleenor.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood, with Rev. Ben Capshaw officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 29, 2019, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson Street, Elwood, Indiana.
