Mary Ann (Buchheit) Noble

October 1, 1939 ~ January 11, 2019 (age 79)



Mary Ann  Noble, age 79, of Elwood, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Miller's Merry Manor in Tipton following a recent decline in health.  
She was born in Huntington on October 1, 1939, to the late Julius and Mary  (Russo) Buchheit.
On January 12, 1956 she married Gale E. Noble, and he preceded her in death on August 23, 2003.  Ann was a dietary technician at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital in Elwood for seven years before her retirement.   She enjoyed fishing and camping with her family.    Ann always enjoyed making crafts, sewing, and baking.    She will be sadly missed and lovingly remember by her family and friends. 
Ann is survived by her daughter, Micky (husband Ron) Majors of Elwood; son, Duke (wife Paula) Noble of Elwood; grandchildren, Nicholas Majors, Megan (husband James) Whitehouse, Jamie Rybecki (fiance' Matt), Jon Ross Noble, Jason Noble; great-grandchildren, Leigha Phillips, J.J. Noble, Dresden Majors, Lyra Majors, Brayden Noble, and Tiberius Whitehouse; great-great grandchild, Liam Ash; daughter-in-law, Roslyn Noble, and sister-in-law, Karen Buchheit.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Dina Noble; son, Vance Noble; and brothers, Robert Buchheit and David Buchheit.
A funeral service to honor Ann's life will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood, Indiana with Rev. Roger Gardner officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.  
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 16, 2019, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson Street, Elwood, Indiana.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association through the funeral home.
