Amber Lynnette (Metz) Faulstich

August 25, 1969 ~ May 3, 2022 (age 52)


Amber Lynette Faulstich, age 52, of Elwood, passed away unexpectedly on May 3, 2022 at her residence.   She was born in Elwood on August 25, 1969, the daughter of Richard Metz and Kathy (Wyatt) Shope.   

Amber was a graduate of Elwood Community High School, and was employed as a home health aide for the majority of her working career.    She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and going camping with family and friends.   Amber formerly attended East Main Street Christian Church in Elwood, and was known to be a very social person who loved being with her friends.   On January 30, 2021 she married Eric Faulstich and he survives.  More than anything she loved being with her family.   
In addition to her husband, Amber is survived by her mother, Kathy (John) Shope; son, Bobbi (wife Sarah) Johnson; daughter, Kathleen (husband Martin) Davidson; two brothers, Steven (wife Karrie) Metz, and Jeff (wife Anna) Shope; sister, Melanie (husband Brian ) Zolman; special granddaughter, Natalie  Davidson; grandfather, Billie  Bell; uncle, Michael  Crowdog; and several nieces and nephews.   Amber was preceded in death by her father, Richard Metz; and grandmother, Barbara Bell.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Amber's life will be held beginning at 2:00pm on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the home of her brother Jeff, 8728 W. 1400 N. Elwood, IN 46036.  All of Amber's family and friends are invited to attend.
