Charles S. "Chuck" Frazier, age 73, of Elwood, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at Ascension St. Vincent Anderson following an extended illness. He was born in Elwood on May 8, 1948, to the late Harry and Alberta (Foor) Frazier. On July 1, 1996, he married Linda (Abbott) Frazier and they shared 25 years of marriage together.
Chuck proudly served his country in the US Army for more than twelve years as a combat medic during Vietnam. He retired as a contractor, and was a former owner and operator of Frazier Construction. He was also a charter member of the Elwood VFW and he had a passion for working on vintage cars.
Chuck is survived by his loving wife, Linda Frazier of Elwood, IN; three step-sons, Greg (Cheryl) Abbott of IL, Terry Fisher of Noblesville and Michael Fisher of Anderson; one step-daughter, Kimberly (Jay) Stone of Kokomo; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his son, Robert Joe Frazier; three sisters, Loretta Price, Eva Jane Hooker and Donna Carpenter; four brothers, Daniel "Bud" Hemphill, Ronald Frazier, Verlin "Buck" Clark and Michael Clark.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 5, 2021, from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm, at Dunnichay Funeral Home Elwood Chapel. Funeral service celebrating Chuck's life will be at 6:00 pm Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at Dunnichay Funeral Home with his cousin John Foor officiating. Cremation will follow.
