Genevieve S. Frazier, age 95, a life long resident of Frankton, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at her residence. She was born in Madison County on October 24, 1925, to the late Vaughn Songer and Rosa (Little) Gooding.
She married Ray W. Frazier in 1945, and they shared 50 years of marriage together before he passed away on Dec. 6, 1995.
Genevieve retired from Guide Lamp after many years of service. She was a member of the Frankton First United Methodist Church and UAW 663. She enjoyed baking, crocheting and gardening. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed.
Genevieve is survived by daughter, Jennie Wesson of Frankton, son, Dan (Judy) Frazier of Anderson, son, Ron (Denise) Frazier of Indianapolis, grandchildren, Todd Wesson, Nanette Coppess, Jessie, Zachary, Alex, Riley & Braxton Frazier, great grandchildren, Hannah Dickson & Andrew Wesson, Rachel & Cole Coppess, Kolton & Brooklyn Frazier
Genevieve was preceded in death by her father, Vaughn Songer, mother, Rosa Gooding, husband, Ray W. Frazier and son in law, Charlie Wesson.
Private family graveside services will be held on Friday, November 20, 2020, at the K of P & I.O.O.F. Cemetery, in Frankton with Pastor Bob Preusz of the Frankton First United Methodist Church officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Frankton First United Methodist Church.
