Gisela C. Stiner, age 83, of Anderson, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, surrounded by her loving family following multiple health issues. She was born on October 25, 1938, in Worms, Germany, the daughter of Ewalt and Charlotte (Diehm) Müeller.
Gisela married Sherman Stiner on June 26, 1996, and they shared over 25 years of marriage together. She was employed by Barber Manufacturing in Anderson and retired in 1996. She was a member of the Elks, lifetime member of the Alexandria Eagles, and a former member of the women's bowling league in Alexandria.
Gisela enjoyed working in her yard, Euchre, country music, watching Lifetime movies, bowling, and feeding any type of animal that visited her yard. More than anything, Gisela enjoyed being with family and especially loved time with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family.
Gisela leaves behind her loving husband, Sherman Stiner; daughter, Candy (husband Michael) Little; two grandchildren, Aaron (wife Heather) Little, and Brittany (husband Terry) Fettig; step-son, Allen (wife Bernice) Stiner; three sisters; brother-in-law, Walter (Martha) Stiner; two sisters-in-law, Lillia Mae Zimmerman and Rose Stiner; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Gisela was preceded in death by a brother, a sister, and a brother-in-law, Everett Stiner.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 2 pm to 4 pm at Dunnichay Funeral Home Elwood Chapel.
